Inspired by the Pacific Coast of Southern California where she spent her childhood and the emerald waters and white sands of the Gulf Coast where she now lives, Betty imbues the wonders and colors of both into her artistic compositions.
As a youngster, Betty was guided by her father who encouraged her to complete complex engineering tasks that were uncommon for a young girl. Coupled with her natural sense of creativity, Betty set about fashioning sculpture, painting, and glass works that incorporated the creative skills of an artisan with those of the finest craftsman.
